In her
voyage across the ocean of this world, the Church is like a great ship
being pounded by the waves of life's different stresses. Our duty is
not to abandon ship but to keep her on her course.
Never separate yourself from the church. No institution has the power of the church.
The Church is your hope. The Church is your salvation. The Church is your refuge.
No one can find salvation except in the Catholic Church. Outside the
Church you can find everything except salvation. You can have
dignities, you can have Sacraments, you can sing "alleluia", answer
"Amen", have faith in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Ghost, and preach it too; But never can you find salvation except in
the Catholic Church.
We may never make the church into
a hallway, or a courtyard or highway, or a public square.
Where Peter is, there is the Church. Where the Church is, there is Jesus Christ.
Where Jesus Christ is, there is eternal salvation.
Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
Thoughtfulness
is the beginning of great sanctity. If you learn this art of being
thoughtful, you will become more and more Christlike, for His heart was
meek and always thought of others.

Apart from the cross, there is no other ladder by which we may get to
heaven.
Christians must lean on the Cross of Christ just as travelers lean on a staff when they begin a long journey.
They
must have the Passion of Christ deeply imbedded in their minds and
hearts, because only from it can they derive peace, grace, and truth.
No one should be ashamed of the cross of Christ, through which the world has been redeemed.
The way of the cross is the one leading to God.
Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow
me.
You will be hated and persecuted by all because of My Name. But the one who
perseveres to the end will be saved.
He who prays is saved; and he who does not pray is damned.
A man must always be ready, for death comes when and where God wills it.
The best
way to prepare for death is to spend every day of life as though it
were the last. Think of the end of worldly honor, wealth and pleasure
and ask yourself: And then? And then?
There is
need of living well, but there is even more need of dying well. A good
death is everything, especially today where people think only of things
and enjoyment here on earth, rejecting eternity.
And unto whomsoever much
is given, of him much shall be required.
Do not
show favor only to relations and kin, or to the most eminent - whether
they are leaders or the wealthy or neighbors or citizens of the same
country. Show favor to all who come to you. By fulfilling your duty in
this way, you will reach the highest state of happiness.

The Lord's Prayer is the most perfect of prayers.
There is no holiness without the grace of God. And this grace can be obtained by our prayer.
There is nothing to worry,
but if there is anything you need, pray for it, asking God for it with
prayer ....

We know that God is there in His holy tabernacle;
